I made some hummus Wednesday night, along with some falafel. It had been awhile since I made any hummus, but I have to say, it was pretty tasty. Unfortunately, I didn’t use any particular measurements with it… I wung it. I’ve found that, when making hummus, tasting it along the way, and adjusting the ingredients as needed, is the way to go. Here’s what is in it:
- Chickpeas, rinsed
- Tahini
- Olive Oil
- Garlic, minced
- Soy Sauce
- Lemon Juice
- Cumin
Put all ingredients in the food processor and whirl away. I wish I had some ratios to give, but I don’t. Not for this one… You’ve got to taste it and test it and take it from there. But, when you find it, it’s really really good…
